Opps! It was meant to be for a man ......

Oh dear. What do you think? Did it work?

Honestly Miss, I did try to stick with manly colours - Chocolate Chip and Old Olive (bless her) then a flower crept in - but I tried to redeem myself by self watercolouring it - not a touch of red, although I was sorely tempted. And how about that square manly buckle? - I tried a soft oval one and put it to one side as it looked too feminine - maybe it's the fault of the gorgeous scallop punch which was just so lovely to use and I thought enhanced the circle design on the papers.

But seriously, I think I do like it and for the right man - maybe a keen gardener in touch with his feminine side - it would work and I would send it.

I had to 'do' the envelope it didn't stand a chance - all that white was just crying out to be filled - and to be fair this so puts me in my happy space that I quite forget myself.

I popped over to Sally's blog at http://www.sallys-daze.blogspot.com/ and found that she had followed what is called the Saturday Sketch - take a peek - so I have printed off the sketch, not that I am brave enough to enter, but I will have a go and show you the results on Sunday - you've probably gathered by now that this is a late Saturday post - you're right I have no social life!!

Well away I go and I shall see you tomorrow - or later today - depending on when you have stopped by - and I so thank you for doing that - but if you have time leave me a comment and let me know - manly enough or not?

  1. Another one here with no social life! I think the card is great for a male gardener. Maybe not macho enough for a footballer! It's gorgeous. Now I think you should be doing the sketch and linking back to your blog. No need to be scared!

Is there anyone out there? Your comments let me know that I am not alone in my 'happy space' - which is very reassuring. Thank you.
